Cala en Porter is the rRutas Kayak Menorca's emblematic kayak tour. Four sea caves spectacular, including the famous Cave of Light (Cova de la Llum), and a leisurely stop at Cales Coves to make snorkel, a sheltered cove with prehistoric caves. If you come with young children or it's your first time kayaking, this is the most recommendable: a little shorter, quieter and with a nearby cove to rest in. unique experience!

Es Canutells is the kayak route for adventurers by Rutas Kayak Menorca, with 8 sea caves is the largest concentration of all Menorca. Frequently asked questions about the Cave Route

If your child does not paddle and occupies one of the two seats in the double kayak we recommend the The Caves Route from Cala en Porter. It is more relaxed, there is less paddling and we stop at Cales Coves, a sheltered cove where you can stand up and the children enjoy swimming and snorkelling.

The route of Es Canutells is something , there are no sheltered coves; you stop at some stone platforms at water level; if you cannot stop there, you may not be able to touch the bottom at any point. If, due to age or physical ability, they cannot sit in the middle, the extra effort falls on the accompanying adult.

On both routes, children under 8 years old can ride as a third occupant in the middle of the double kayak (free of charge). Children from 8 to 12 years old pay 29€.

No, they are two completely different routes along different stretches of coastline. No caves overlap.

The route from Cala en Porter It runs along the coast towards Cales Coves, entering four sea caves, including the Cueva de la Luz, and stopping to snorkel in a sheltered cove.

The route from Es Canutells has the most caves of the entire south coast of Menorca: up to eight sea caves on a stretch of virgin coastline, with cliffs, narrow passages and caves that can be entered by torchlight.

Both routes last 3 hours and include an expert guide, GoPro photos, water bottle and snorkel.

Yes, and in fact that is what they do many customers who want to see the entire south coast. They are two different and complementary experiences: Cala en Porter gives you the best known caves and a snorkelling stop at Cales Coves, Es Canutells gives you the wildest coastline, the largest number of caves and a snorkelling stop in crystal clear waters next to the cliffs.
